PT CAS Applicant Information

Paula has teased some data out of the 2015 PT CAS applicant data report that some of the Exercise Science students may be interested in:
 
JMU Acceptance Rate:  100/48  = 48%  (increase from 47% in 2014)
 
Top Major for PTCAS Applicants/Acceptances:  (1) Exercise Science  (2)  Kinesiology   (3)  Biology
 
Cumulative GPA for PTCAS accepted:   3.57 (no change from 2014)
Science & Math Combined GPA:  3.44
 
Applications increased by 8.6% nationwide

Our central goal is to provide detail focused customized training experiences tailored to individual clients and group training needs. Additionally, as an Atlas Fitness coach, we deliver a highly energetic and motivational fitness curriculum to 6th - 8th grade students in DC middle schools supplementing PE activities during off-peak gym hours. We are looking for trainers and coaches who have experience in working with a variety of clientele to lead group exercise classes and conduct personal training sessions. 

We are particularly interested in trainers with certifications in Olympic lifting, powerlifting, kettlebells, and/or TRX from accredited organizations such as UAWL, IPF, USPA, USAPL, and IKFF.

Certification to teach land and/or water aerobics, and/or personal trainer with 3-5 years of experience.
