Job Title:   Wellness Instructor               

Wellness Instructor  -  full-time position with benefits working M – F, 32 hours/week

 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and occasional Saturday mornings (8:30-11:45 am). Responsibilities include leading group exercise classes, assisting senior residents with one-to-one exercise sessions, guarding the pool areas and assisting with planning and implementing various wellness programming. Qualified applicants must have a High School diploma and 2 years experience in wellness/fitness or a combination of education and experience in field.  Must have the ability to train/certify for lifeguard if not already a certified lifeguard.

Wellness Instructor (32hrs/wk)

Education/experience equivalent to High School diploma

2 years of experience in wellness/fitness or a combination of education & experience in field

Experience instructing group/individual land and aqua exercise preferred

Lifeguard certified or willing to obtain

Certified Yoga instructor a plus

This position would be responsible in assisting the Director in creating and implementing senior specific wellness programming, teaching a variety of land and aquatic exercise classes and in assisting individual exercise programs for older adults.
