The OPA role encompasses welcoming first-year students and their families to JMU to assist them in their transition to our community during First-Year Summer Springboard and 1787 August Orientation. OPAs also provide support to advisors, college presenters, and departments during Summer Springboard and 1787 August Orientation programs. We are looking for students who are service-oriented, exemplary role models and representatives of JMU, and are interested in the success of incoming students.

- Applications are due on Monday, October 23 at 5 PM in the Orientation Office, SSC 2200
- Applicants must attend an information at one of the following times:
- Thursday, October 12th at 6pm in SSC 1075
- Monday, October 16th at 4pm in SSC 1075
