My name is Adam Van Nortwick and I’m the office manager at Appalachian Physical Therapy in Harrisonburg. I’m contacting you regarding a job opening for interested students. As you’re aware, physical therapy schools have an observation hour requirement. At the same time, we have a need for students who have a good understanding of exercise science principles. For this reason, we usually look for students that are graduating from programs such as yours. Ideally, we would like to hire a student who is taking a gap year as it takes time to get students properly trained and oriented to our clinic.
