Fieldwork Information Session Dates

Do you need to complete KIN 471 Practicum or KIN 481 Internship during the Spring 2016 semester? You must attend a mandatory information session. Only those students who attend the information session will be allowed to complete fieldwork during the Spring semester. Meeting times are:

Mon Oct 5, 9am-10am, Godwin 337

Wed Oct 14, 3:30-4:30pm, Godwin 344

Thurs Oct 15, 4:30-5:30pm, Godwin 344

Fri Oct 23, 8am-9am, Godwin 344

Next, prepare the following documents to bring to your information session:

1.    Current resume

2.    Your five and ten year professional goals

3.    A list of 3-5 potential sites for your practicum or internship

4.    The semester you are planning on completing your fieldwork

5.    Application for Fieldwork**

After your site has been secured, you will submit the following form to Jana:

Finally, the deadline to submit your Agency Acceptance Form to complete Spring 2016 fieldwork is Friday, December 11. This is the last day of classes this semester. Start this process soon! Many sites fill their opportunities 6-8 weeks before the deadline.
