Fieldwork Information Sessions Summer 2018 & Fall 2018

Do you need to complete KIN 471 Practicum or KIN 481 Internship during Summer 2018 or Fall 2018? You must attend a mandatory information session. Only those students who attend the information session will be allowed to complete fieldwork. Meeting times are:

Tues Feb 20, 3:30pm-4:30pm, Godwin 337

Wed Feb 21, 2:30pm-3:30pm, Godwin 341

Mon Feb 26, 10:10am-11:00am, Godwin 337

Wed Feb 28, 8:00am-8:50am, Godwin 344

Next, prepare the following documents to bring to your information session:

1.    Current resume

2.    Your five and ten year professional goals

3.    A list of 3-5 potential sites for your practicum or internship

4.    The semester you are planning on completing your fieldwork

5.    Application for Fieldwork**

After your site has been secured, you will submit the following form to Jana:

Finally, the deadline to submit your Agency Acceptance Form to complete Summer AND/OR Fall 2018 fieldwork is Thurs April 26. This is the last day of classes this semester. Start this process soon! Many sites fill their opportunities 6-8 weeks before the deadline.
