Great story on the JMU website about the KIN 100 students who choose to enroll in the specialty marathon section. They train together for an entire semester, then travel to run their culminating event -- a marathon -- in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Some family and friends typically also make the trip to cheer on their runner. Every student agrees, the marathon is the most powerful experience they've had in their lives so far!

Advice from an alum!

Joe Valentino (2012 JMU Kinesiology) directed my attention to a blog post he wrote for a friend in the Athletics profession. I often send students to him for advice. He thought this post might be a good resource for students who have questions about the Strength & Conditioning profession: https://lamarcasports.com/2016/05/31/an-open-ended-journey-through-the-strength-conditioning-profession-guest-post/

Thank you Joe!
