S/C Internship at Mary Baldwin University

The Mary Baldwin Strength and Conditioning Department is looking to fill internship positions for the fall 2019 semester.  The internship will involve assisting the full time staff with the implementation of sports performance programs for all sports on campus.  This includes strength and speed training with men's and women's soccer, track and field/cross country, tennis, volleyball, softball, baseball, and women's basketball.  Interns will also complete a short internship education program designed to prepare them for the next step in their careers.  Students interested in pursuing strength and conditioning/sports performance, personal training, or physical therapy/athletic training are encouraged to apply.  Those interested should send a resume and a brief letter of interest to Sam Jeffries at srjeffries@marybaldwin.edu

Jana's notes: Mary Baldwin University is located south of Harrisonburg in Staunton, VA, which is exit 222 off of Interstate 81. This trip is about 45 minutes from campus. A person interested in this internship would need reliable transportation, gas money for the commute, and a class schedule with open periods of availability.

Power Train Sports and Fitness - DC, MD, VA

I received this information from a Director looking for students for sports performance internships.

In the DC metro area, we have facilities in Frederick, Ashburn, Dulles, and Rockville with plans to open several more over the next few years.  We also have locations in NY, PA, OH, and NJ.  If you recall we primarily focus on athlete specific training and offer a very hands on and educational summer internship program.

Our internship program is very competitive and several of our former interns are now full time facility directors or have gone on to several other great opportunities.

Would you be able to help me with offering the internships for students?

Thank you!
