Virtual Internships - Fall 2020

Here is information on two practicum/internship opportunities that can be completed virtually during the fall semester! 

One opportunity is working with the federal government Administration for Community Living which seeks to improve the lives of older adults and people with disabilities through services, research, and education. This opportunity is working with Dr. Tom Moran, a JMU Kinesiology professor. A flyer for this opportunity is attached. 

Shenandoah Valley Inclusive Wellness Coalition (SVIWC) is looking for an intern to support virtual wellness programming for participants with Disabilities. SVIWC  is an alliance of individuals with disabilities, family members, and professionals who are working to increase opportunities for ALL individuals to participate in community-based physical activity and wellness opportunities.
