Volunteers Needed for Ability Olympics

Empowerment3/Overcoming Barriers is putting on Ability Olympics THIS WEEKEND and we need volunteers!! Ability Olympics gives children, adolescents and adults with disabilities the opportunity to participate in adapted sports. This year Ability Olympics will be held on April 22-23 at Godwin Hall and surrounding areas. This is our big culminating event for our Overcoming Barrier families, and people from around the United States.

Friday will go from 6:30pm-8:30pm and will consist of fun games and dancing - like a social opportunity and a way for participants to get to know the environment the event is in on Saturday. Saturday will go from 9am-4pm - this is where we need you all most! You will work 1:1 as a mentor with a participant - you are their buddy to encourage, empower and motivate them throughout the day!

Lunch will be included during the event and also a t-shirt! If you would like to volunteer for this amazing event, please click the link below and fill out the form.
